What To Expect

What Should I Expect When I Visit?

At Green Hills, we feel that it’s OUR responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Green Hills. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. What should I expect in church… how do I get there… what should I wear… what’s available for my kids? Here is a quick look at what you can expect.

What should I expect during the worship time?

Music has the power to speak to the heart! Since we all have hearts that thrive on encouragement and that need to be energized – the music at Green Hills is encouraging and energizing. We want you to get a lift and not a letdown when you come to church! We all like different styles of music, so there are several music styles to choose from at Green Hills. Currently we have two distinctly different worship styles represented on Sunday morning – traditional at 8:00 am and contemporary at 9:30 am and 11:00 am. We also have a Spanish Service at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. On Sunday night at 6:00 pm we offer a very traditional worship style called The Chapel Service.

How do I find Green Hills?

We are located in La Habra, California, near the southwest corner of Beach Blvd. and Imperial Hwy. Directions are available under our Directions tab.

What Do I Wear?

You can wear what’s comfortable! We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually and you’ll fit right in.

What's Available For My Kids?

We offer age-appropriate classes during the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services. These classes are well-staffed, carefully planned and targeted to meet your child's age-specific needs. We have a pager system for younger children so that you can be notified immediately if your child needs you during the service. Pagers are available at the Sprouts table outside on the patio. Please see the Children's page for more detailed information. Of course we have programs for Middle School, High School and College students as well.
