Missions Offering

Our Missions Offering Goals

The goal for this year’s Missions Offering, which will be received all during our Mission Emphasis, is as follows:

$8,500 - Cooperative Program of the So. Baptist Convention

$8,500 - Lottie Moon Offering (Foreign Missions)

$2,000 - California State Missions Offering

$500   - Annie Armstrong Offering (Home Missions)

$10,500 - Other Special Missions Projects (Guatemala, WPCC, Missionaries)

Jesus answered to the Samaritan woman at the well concerning thirst and water from that well, He said to her “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13b-14   People without Christ are thirsty and in need of the living Water, it is time for us to spring up as fountains of water for a thirsty land.

In the month of February we focusing on missions and evangelism. The hope is to elevate our commitment to missions around the world, as well as increase personal evangelism here at home.

Our missions offering goal for 2008 was $30,000.  Yearly we ask that you prayerfully consider how God will use you in this area of our mission’s ministry.  The Missions Emphasis Month is something that is exciting. We hope that the information provided for you through this month of February, will be able to help you focus on how with our yearly missions offering, you can provide Water for a Thirsty Land.
